Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026. These terms are a production-ready starting point and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before public launch.

1. Use of the service

Geolapis GeoLab AI provides AI-assisted screening tools for soil and water report preparation. You must use the service only for lawful purposes and only with data you have permission to upload, enter, process, and store.

2. Screening-level outputs

Reports, calculations, charts, interpretations, flags, and PDF previews are screening-level outputs only. They are not certified laboratory reports, regulatory approvals, public-health clearances, or final geotechnical, environmental, or engineering design recommendations.

3. Professional review required

You are responsible for obtaining review and sign-off from appropriately qualified professionals before using any output for engineering, construction, regulatory, health, public-safety, procurement, or legal decisions.

4. Account and credits

Report credits may be used to unlock clean final PDFs. Watermarked previews may remain available for review. Credits are tied to your account/email and may be subject to product policies, fraud checks, and payment confirmation.

5. User data and accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, source, sample handling, test method, and suitability of all data entered into the service. GeoLab may flag issues, but it cannot guarantee that all errors are detected.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. GeoLab does not store full card details. Purchases become available after payment confirmation and, in production, webhook-based fulfilment.

7. No warranty

The service is provided as-is and as-available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geolapis disclaims warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, and suitability for any specific regulatory or engineering use.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geolapis is not liable for losses arising from misuse of the service, incorrect input data, unreviewed outputs, regulatory reliance, public-health decisions, construction/design decisions, or third-party service interruptions.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
