Information we collect
We may collect account information, email address, organisation name, project/sample details, user-entered laboratory values, report payloads, generated PDF metadata, credit/payment records, support messages, device/browser logs, and usage analytics needed to operate and improve the service.
How we use information
We use information to provide calculations, save report history, generate PDFs, process credits/payments, support account access, respond to enquiries, improve product quality, maintain security, and comply with legal or operational obligations.
Laboratory and project data
Soil and water data entered into GeoLab may include project locations, sample identifiers, field descriptions, lab values, and generated interpretations. Do not enter confidential, regulated, or third-party data unless you have authority to do so.
Payments
Payment processing is handled by third-party providers such as Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. We may store transaction references, package purchased, credit balance, and fulfilment status.
Email and support
Contact-form messages are sent to Geolapis support and may be retained to respond to your enquiry, improve support, and maintain business records.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including account authentication, environment-secret separation, and production CORS restrictions. No internet service can be guaranteed fully secure.
Retention
We retain account, report, and transaction information as long as needed to provide the service, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the product. You may contact support to request deletion where legally and technically possible.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account/report data by contacting support@geolapis.com. Some records may need to be retained for fraud prevention, payment, tax, or legal reasons.
